In this episode of Functional Nutrition Radio, we’re talking all about how to truly listen to your body - and how to tell the difference between real signals and misleading ones. I’m breaking down some key green flags and red flags to watch for, helping you better understand what your body is trying to communicate. While intuition is powerful, not every craving or feeling is steering you in the right direction. Tune in to learn how to tune in with more clarity, confidence, and trust in your body’s true needs!

Green Flags

  • You're eating when you're hungry and not just when it's "time".
  • You stop eating when you feel satisfied, not stuffed.
  • You notice how foods make you feel (+ adjust accordingly)
  • You respect and take action when your body needs rest (yup, that means skipping your workout).
  • You choose nourishing meals even when you're not perfect.

Red Flags

  • You skip meals because you don't feel hungry.
  • You crave sugar and caffeine and you call it "intuition"
  • You avoid food groups. because your "body doesn't like them", yet you've never tested or challenged it (this means there is more noise you're relying on than your body)
  • You use intuitive eating as a way to avoid structure all together
  • You justify every choice by saying "I'm listening to my body", even when those choices are out of alignment.

Learn more about these AND we're listing way more in our podcast episode, so don't miss it.
