Burnout therapy
When work keeps taking more than you can recover, rest alone may not feel like enough. Therapy creates space to understand what is draining you and what needs to change.

You feel depleted before the day begins, and time off does not seem to restore the energy you expected.
You notice cynicism, detachment, or a growing sense that your effort no longer makes a difference.
Your own needs keep moving to the bottom of the list, and saying no can bring guilt or anxiety.
Burnout describes a pattern associated with chronic workplace stress. In therapy, we can explore the demands you are carrying, the resources available to you, and the expectations or patterns that make it difficult to step back.
The work may include recognizing limits, communicating boundaries, navigating perfectionism, and rebuilding activities and relationships that matter to you. Your therapist can support decisions and coping without assuming every stressor is within your control.
Exhaustion can also overlap with depression, anxiety, sleep problems, or physical health concerns. Therapy is a place to discuss the wider picture and whether another evaluation would help. It does not replace medical assessment for persistent or unexplained fatigue.

Hi, I am Ally Hoffman Scott, MA, LPC. My work is shaped by professional training and by my own lived experience with PCOS, mental health challenges, therapy, relationships, and the importance of steady support.
Healing is messy and human, so my approach is eclectic and person-centered. I integrate solution-focused work, attachment-informed care, neurofeedback, CRM, EMDR, and somatic practices based on what each person needs.
Together, we create a plan that helps you reconnect with your body, your nervous system, and your authentic self. I bring gentle challenge, practical tools, and space to slow down, tune in, and show up more fully.
